Easter Week that begins immediately after Easter Sunday is certainly time of celebration and joy, as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ. In Mexico, as in many other countries with predominantly Catholic Easter is celebrated big. Formerly used to give typical Mexican sweets such as joy, pepitorias and candy covered all known.

Many people around the world celebrate Easter, of course the celebrated differently in each country. In my country we are quite religious, Easter is an important for us celebration and is a week of respect and devotion to God, goes to Mass on Holy Thursday as we call and Sunday is much more special because it is the day of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Sunday before Easter is called Palm Sunday is the jubilant entry of Jesus .Do not know if everyone considers a religious date but in my country and my family if it is, and we will continue with our traditions instead we are.

We celebrate easter because jesus christ rose from the dead. Yes, Christians celebrated easter in my country each year because it was a celebration of jesus. They celebrate it by dying eggs and going to church, we dye eggs because we consider it a new life like jesus had a new life.We have some family traditions which is going to each other's house and making food & serving the eggs that we dyed. I know the meaning of easter, I learned about it from my family and from going to church. I celebrate easter every year. I think it is an important holiday because it is the day jesus rose from the dead. The sunday before easter is called palm day, it is remembering when jesus entered jerusalem. Yes I think do consider it a religious celebration because jesus is the reason why we celebrate easter.

Christians celebrate Easter because they believe that Jesus came back to life from the dead. Easter is one of the most important holidays for Russians. But Russian Orthodox Church celebrates Easter according to the Orthodox calendar. The Easter could occur in April or May. We celebrate Easter with Easter meal. Russian Easter foods include kulich (Russian Easter bread), paskha (a dish made from cheese and other ingredients, usually formed into the shape of a pyramid), decorated eggs, and other foods. Sometimes the food is blessed by the Orthodox Church before being eaten. The Sunday before Easter is called the Palm Sunday. On Palm Sunday Christians celebrate the entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, the week before his death and resurrection. The Bible tell us that when Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds greeted him by waving palm branches and covering his path with palm branches.

People celebrate Easter because it is a big religious holiday. People in my country celebrated Easter. They color eggs, bake kulich and paskha(sweet bread with raisins and cream on top), and go to church. Then they visit their family and friends and give those colored eggs and paskha. Our special family tradition is finding egg winner. Each of the family member gets a color egg and hit it with another egg. The owner of the egg that is not ruined, is the winner. The meaning of Easter is The Resurrection of Jesus. My family celebrates Easter every year, because it is very important holiday for us. We are Christians and we follow God. The Sunday before Easter called Palm Sunday. It is remembering of the entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. I think most people consider Easter time as a religious celebration.

Many people celebrate Easter in a lot of countries over the world. It is a religious and holy day. In my country people celebrate Easter. Of course we have special family traditions. Easter is the most important and oldest festival of the Christian Church, many Christians feel strongly that the day on which we celebrate Jesus resurrection should not be referred to as ( Eastern Sunday). I celebrate in this day with my friends. I think it's an important holiday because it celebrates Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, three days after he was executed by crucifixion. The Sunday before Easter is called Palm Sunday.

Easter is Christianity’s most important holiday. It has been called a moveable feast because it doesn’t fall on a set date every year, as most holidays do. In my country people don't celebrate it, actually they don't know too much about it, obviously I didn't know that when I was in my country. I thinkiIt's important to Christians not to other religions, cause it's a religious holiday. The Sunday before Easter is called Palm Sunday because the crowds waved palm branches as they followed Jesus' procession into Jerusalem. It was the time of the Jewish feast of Passover. Must people think it's a religious celebration because Christians say Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead.

Easter day is the Commemoration of the Resurrection of Jesus, with its promise of eternal life. A symbol of the Resurrection is the egg out of which a bird hatches. It is an ancient tradition in Britain to climb the nearest hill to see the sunrise. In America they hold outdoor services at dawn in such places as the Hollywood Bowl. On this day it is also tradition to wear new clothes which have been carried on to the modern “Easter Parade”. There is always a Feast with various foods in different countries such as hot cross buns in Australia; Simnel cake in Britain; Pacoca in Brazil; Easter cakes in Finland and Italy; turkey or chicken and lamb's meat in Iraq and Lebanon and Pasenbrood in the Netherlands. The Sunday before Easter called palm day, it is an important holiday because it’s a Commemoration of the Resurrection of Jesus, It’s religios celebration because as Christians say Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead.

Easter is the day that Christians celebrate the resurrection of their "lord and saviour", Jesus Christ. Jesus is believed to have died by crucifixion, only to rise from the grave three days later, symbolising the declaration that all who believe in him will live on forever in heaven.
