In my country Ukraine there are a lot of social and political changes happened in the past ten years. We had wto presidents, their names are Leonid Kychma, and Victor Ushenko. And right now our president is Victor Yanykovich. President gives some money to make the better roads. So right now we have better roads. The economic is very low, and a lot of people lost their jobs. Ten years ago if you go to the market, and you want to by meat it would cost you two dollars for one pound, but right now it cost five dollars for one pound. It is very expansive. Also the clothes are expensive. A lot of people in my village build new houses. Also right now we have gas in our village, but ten years ago we didn’t have it. Right now we have a special car that going on every street and selling the bread. So that way people don’t have to go to the store if they want to buy the bread. People don’t have to waste their time. It is easier for people. I think these changes are positive. I would like to change the economic, give people good jobs, so that way people can live well, and get more money, because everything are expensive.

Like in any county, change occurs; in some countries faster than others. Many things happened in my native county, Ukraine, in the last ten years. First of all, it went thru two presidents from a political point of view. Also, based on what I hear from others, there is more freedom on religion and speech. One can visit the country on a missionary status and can hold sermons there. One can go and preach religion in villages or other places. From what I hear, this was not always allowed. In fact, about forty or so years ago, people were prosecuted for it and imprisoned for it.

Ukraine often seems to be changing at fast speed. In politics, we see severe changes of economic and political courses in a couple years. In the economy, we see rapid technological changes that many Ukrainians can keep up with. On Ukraine's real estate market, property prices quadrupled in six years, then fell in half as a result of the 2008-2010 financial crisis. In this time, Kiev has transformed from a large, but quiet town with a spiritual side into a money-oriented mega polis. After the Orange Revolution, Ukraine was no longer the remote place of Europe. Since then, despite Ukrainian government's post-revolution failures, Ukraine has remained in the public eye. What will happen to the country? Will it be surround by increasing Russian influence? Will it try again to stay away from its Soviet past and hold close European values? Throughout the thousands of villages of Ukraine, one would hardly guess that anything is happening in the nation at all. Ukraine remains an agrarian country, where politicians come from villages and small towns and babushki sell home-grown produce to city residents on the sidewalks of Kiev and other big cities. Ukraine holds on to its traditional culture despite economic and political changes. Changes were made to the Ukrainian Constitution recently, this decision has returned Ukraine to its 1996 constitution and renews the president's power in the country. The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych Therefore new president will strengthen connection with Russia and at the same time keep cooperation with the European Union and the United States.

I am from Belarus and in my country there is no change last 15 years . One president and no choice for people. On 27 July 1990, Belarus declared its national sovereignty, a key step toward independence from the Soviet Union. The BSSR was formally renamed the Republic of Belarus on 25 August 1991. Around that time, Stanislav Shushkevich became the chairman of the Supreme Soviet of Belarus, the top leadership position in Belarus. On December 8, 1991, Shushkevich met with Boris Yeltsin of Russia and Leonid Kravchuk of Ukraine, in Belavezhskaya Pushcha, to formally declare the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the formation of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

I left my native country-China twenty years ago. I have been out of touch with my roots from my home country. From news papers and the news from TV, I have learned that there are lots of social and political changes that have happened in the past ten years. I think some of these changes are positive and some are negative.

I want to tell about event that happend 21 years ago in my native country. Most of Ukrainian people waited for this time many years and hoped that it time will become. It happend in the 24-th of August 1991.On this day the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian republic adopted the "Act of the State Sovereignty of Ukraine".This document proclaimed the formation of the independent Ukrainian State. From the moment of adoption on this act only the lows of Ukraine remained in action. From that time began a new period in the history of Ukraine. Before this day Ukraine didn't have independence. It was one of the fifteen Republics of the big country named Soviet Union. The politic from Moskow wasn't good for Ukraine and other Republics of Soviet Union, and many people wanted to have independence from communistic power it big country. It time became in the August 1991.Its sovereignty is now recognized by oll the countries of the world. Now Ukraine has its own state simbols,Constitution, currency, government and the President.Only the laws of Ukraine act on this territory. The president represent the state in the international relation. It is the most importent event in the history of my country and in the life all ukrainian, and it is very importent that it event was happen peacefully. All ukrainian in my country and abroad was very happy and ccelebrated it day. I am very happy that its day became and that my country have independence from the big empire Soviet Union, where many people lived in the fear and persecutions.I am happy that I can celebrate the independence Day of Ukraine.

I really love my native country Ukraine. However, I don't want live there because I like stability. Since Ukraine became independent country in 1991, there was no stability in political and social sistems. Ukraine gained independence, coupled with the crisis, inherited most of the former Soviet republics. The country had almost no qualified managers and financiers, the necessary experience in foreign markets, and much more, which is normal for any country with a market economy. The country was managed by people who didn't like the democracy, didn't want to make people's life better. On this background a lot of political parties were born. People didn't know whom they have to trust to. In 2004 political crisis couldn't grow anymore. In the Ukrainian political crisis turned out to involve not only leading politicians and public figures, political parties and all branches of the legislative, executive and judicial powers of the president to the employees of ministries and local councils, but even show business and, generally speaking, almost the entire population, as well as numerous other public figures near and distant countries and international organizations.

In my native country, social and political changes have not happened. Because my country is always republic and democracy. My country is South Korea, and North Korea is communist country. We are same people, but president is different. So we are divided now. Anyway my native country is always democracy. And I really think we have to change our country, exactly every country. Communist, democracy has to combine. If country always chooses one, this is right wing deviationism, or left wing deviationism. This is negative situation. A president thinks like himself he is a king. What the foolish situation. President is just representing person literally. And power country does not attack the other weak country. In this society, for example, America attacks an Iraq. Do you think this is fair? America wants oil. This is unfair. Is it democracy? This is an obscurantist policy. This is terrible. We are same people. A good war? Every people know war is really not good situation. I don’t agree with the opinion that the war was in a good cause. War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other’s children. I always think war is not good at all people. And democracy and communist are also. We have to do combine all kind of political. All advantages combine. It is very good for every people. So I think normal people have to learn about political. Don’t be a obscurantist.

Since my native country became independent in 1991 there are a lot of changes. People have a hard life and only the politics are rich and happy because they sold everything from our industry, there is no more state industry everything is private. And even every help from other countries is shared to their pockets. Many people went outside of country and work in Europe or Russia. The corruption is very high, there are also a lot of thieves, and many girls are sold to be prostitute in different countries. And behind of all these are staying our politics, that’s how they became rich and powerful.

What social and political changes have happened to your native country in the last 10 years? There have been a lot of changes in my native country Ethiopia. Some of the changes include public transportation, highways, universities, hospitals, and a big political change from communism to democracy. This has been a big jump for Ethiopians to go from king and queens, seventeen years of communism, and now democracy. During these political changes, many people lost their love ones, their homes, and businesses. These transitions of political changes caused many years of civil wars, and severely destroyed cities with the people in them. Many people say that” it was hell”, but I was too young to understand it all. I was born at the end of communism time soon after my family and I forced to move out of the country. When democracy took places opened so many doors for the people to rebuild the country again. Many Ethiopians who left the country during communism time went back to Ethiopia from all over the world to be with their people. Most of them opened businesses like factories, real estates, import export, and schools. These are some of the changes that I know off, I think there is more I have not mention above. In my opinion I think Ethiopia have the potential to grow and thrive like many countries went through civil wars. In addition I think change is good but you have to be ready for it otherwise it may not work at all.

I was born in Ukraine.I live there of 50 years.I love my country and my city Dnepropetrovsk.Unfortunately there is not stability and confidence in the future.Especially last teen years here all very guickly changes. Both in the politican and in social area. But there are also positive changes. For example ,when there was a president Victor Yuchenko it had added money and people began to live is better ,also has repaired roads .Now president Yanukovich and all had again changed. The prices for products began to drow all became very much expensive.People has risen in price cannot pay for good food.Live it became very bad. Gas and electric bill very expensive. But it is the positive. In Ukraine there is a celluar communikation , as well as the internet. Now my country expiriences both social and political crisis. Now there very much greater political changes. There is not senate. In one night Ukraine became country in wich the president operates. But while improvement is not present.I very much hope and I trust that my country will soon get out of this crisis. The Lord will bless Ukraine also as America.Very much it would be desirable that all people lived well. That they received more money than they paid for habitationfor bill coud train and treat the children. That the rights of everyone were are protected.Thet there was a stability in the politicanand in a social life. Also I trust sometime my country will be free and strong.

Political and social changes for the past 10 year are very different. I don’t remember any changes in our country than right now. For that time 3 times the bill has changed, and every time the money was inflation. The education was free they even paid the students to study but now it’s the opposite, people have to have a lot of money to get education for the students. Which family has a single child the can still give education for their child, but whose family has more than three kids they can’t afford the money. Also, ten years ago the medical in our country was free, all people had to take a prevention of organism, and x-ray at least once a year and they did it for free. All of the stores were government’s, but now most of the shops are private. Back then we would buy the most important things, and now people can buy anything they want. Life became easier but more expensive. For example in our country prices of the groceries are much more expensive than here. With every new president the prices go up, and that is very bad for all people young and old. And unemployment grows more and more each year. There are also a lot of changes in the nature, convulsion is happening all around Earth. Our life is changing fast than 10 years ago.

I was born and raised in Russia. For my 27 years the country has seen many changes. For example, ceased to exist the Communist Party. This led to a change in social conditions. Earlier in the country everything is considered a common or public, for example education, treatment, housing, etc.

In my country Peru The Political divedes in Left and Right. The Poltical that are on the right are people with money, and The Political that are on the left are people with less money. Many years ago, there was a person who wanted to be Presiente of Peru. His name was Victor Raul Alla de la Torre, and his political was colled "APRA". This political was from the left with his president Victor Raul. This person was honest and loved his country. He wanted the best for our country. He died very old, but before he prepared a person with the same ideas as him. His name "Alan Garcia". He always said "Victor Raul" was my Teacher. After 50 years, for first time The Political "Aprista" came to be Presidencial. In the year 1985 Peru elect a new President Alan Garcia por 5 years, a person very young with only 42, but the government got confused and made a lot of mistakes, because of that he was no longer re-elected President. In my country that major problems is illicit drugs traffic, groups guerrilla, etc, but in the Independient Governmet The Presidente Fujimore in 1990 these problems were a little stability. Now, after 15 years Alan Garcia ran por Presidente again, and was elected in 2007. Now, he is President of Peru. He promises to make new changes in our country. The economy in Peru is regularly got better but, still it seems very poor. We hope that there will be better changes in the following years.

I am not interested in politics. This topic is little bit complicated for me. Also I was not in my native country for a long period of time. Over these 10 years, nothing significant has happened. Good changes are improved the standard of living, and security. In 2000 Putin was elected as new president. He continued the work or the way of the ex-president who came before him. Every year, Russia is becoming more and more similar to European countries. On the one hand it is good. On the other hand, it loses its uniqueness, the national experience. For example education in Russia, it was considered one of the best in the world. Now after the reforms, it lost a lot of positive aspects. Examinations in the form of test are worse than exams in the form of questions. In the test you can guess, whereas the question shows your knowledge. In 2008, Medvedev was elected as president, and Putin became prime minister. Now they are working together. The new president is more impulsive. For two years he introduced many reforms, some of them were successful. Now he wants to deploy throughout country the high technologies. He wants to build a semblance of Silicone Valley near Moscow. For this purpose he came to California, talked with Governor Schwarzenegger. Also he talked with professionals and leaders of major campaigns such as Apple, Microsoft, Cisco, and AMD. Not so long, Schwarzenegger went to Moscow for the return visit. I like these changes, because I am interested in technologies, especially computer technology.

During my life in Ukraine too many things has happen, there were too many changes not just socialistic but also political. I don’t remember that much, because I were too yang 10 years ago. As I know Ukraine gets changed at fast speed. I remember in our village ten years ago we don’t even have a color TV, only few people had, and it was black and white TV. As I know the economic was higher than now. At that time lots of people had a job, everybody built a houses. At that time people can get an education much easier than now. Education was free, not like right now, not just education but all, food, clothes, medicine, everything is expensive. People has risen in price cannot pay for good food. Live it became very bad. In the past ten years, we did not have big social and political changes in France. In 2007, the president changed. Now our president is Nicolas Sarkozy and before it was Jacques Chirac. They are from the same party, so there are not big differences between the two presidents.

Many political changes have happened in my country in the past ten years.2003,the American army led a war against my country in the name of freedom. They called it The Operation Of Freedom. They won the war because of their very advance technology, and the blockade that they had been imposed for about nearly 13 years. The situation was not stable at all after they won the war.The crimes started to take place every where in the Iraqi's streets. As we know when there are crimes all over the country, there are no jobs, beside that the prices started to raise.Every thing was very expensive. On the other hand many social changes have been taken place on most of the people who is living there.they saw dead bodies on the streets, they lived under very difficult living conditions,so their thinking has been changed a lot that what was on before the war. This change does make the social change. These changes are negative because they did not bring the better to the country. There were people living with no water, electricity, cooking gas,and car gasoline. This affected about 88% present of the people.I want from the current government to change a little bit from its methods because I feel like it biased to a specific range or religion than the other. Also there many interventions affecting the activity of the government. These interventions are coming from the neighbors countries.I want to see a change in the economical system, and a war against the bribes that exist in the daily aspects of life.I want to see these changes taking place as fast as they can be done because I thing they will lead the country to a better political, economical, and social situation.

In the past ten years social and political in my country changes a lot. Vietnam has many renovation in social and political. For example, in social Vietnam has renovation are education and economic. First, the system of education has a lot of improvement such as, they abolished the exam to transfer in elementary, middle and high school. They have more university and modern equipment for student practice. Second, the economic is growing up. The special event that Vietnam joined into the WTO (World Trade Organization). The advantage of WTO is reduced tax. Vietnam is an export country. Vietnam exports many cars, oil, technologies every year. For example, before tax of car was 100%. Now is just 20%. Car is popular in Vietnam now. Technological costs cheaper than before like laptop, computer and TV. Especially laptop, every student easy to have laptop for their education with cheap price. The big change of political is normalized relation with the United States America in 1995 and has a good international relation with 172 countries.

In the past decade, a lot of amendments to the Ukrainian constitution have been made. The 2004 amendments were enacted with too much haste, in effect producing overlapping divisions of government rather than three separate powers that ensure checks and balances. The amendments were recently cancelled. Following the cancellation, the 2004 presidential election saw a lot of commotion between the two groups supporting either candidate.
