My favorite author is Lori Vick she wrote 18 romantic novels. She wrote about American West modern life. Her firs book I read it was “light in the window” and “quit sound”. She wrote the book about American people. It was small story and she wrote about different family. My best book it is quit sound. From this story I take much of good lesson about life. This book very beautifully shows domestic situation. What we needed to live and respect each other.

I like books by different writers. I have no favorite writer. The books I've read is because their subjects have interested me. I have read various topics such as: romantic, progress, leadership, stories based on real life etc. But one I read was the Bible this book I consider us their stories have interesting example for us. Also has wise advice and information about the prudence. I like reading topics that I can learn and to put into practice in my life.Sometimes I had to study some topic to present and teach people about it. I think that whatever the writer choose most important is the topic we choose to read.

I don’t really like reading because I have a hard time focusing while I read, I didn’t grow up with the culture of reading so it is not one of my favorite things to do. Here in class, we had to read a book a couple weeks ago, and I was surprised on how easy to read the book was. The author is Joan Holub and the book is “who was Babe Ruth”. When I first picked up the book I was not excited at all because like I said, I have a hard time getting engaged in a book, but the way she writes made me imagine things while I was reading and picture what was actually happening with the book characters. I am not sure if it was the type of book or the type of story but I was interested in the book the entire time. I am thinking about reading another one of his books.

My favorite author is Jacob Bergen. He is from Germany. One book that he wrote that I read and liked is "Sweet Wormwood". The book was about a woman named Nadezhda. The man she loved left and died, she had an unhappy marriage after, and her son was arrested. She almost killed herself, but God's love saved her and gave her hope. What I liked about this book is that it has a good ending. Of course, there are times when I read a book twice, but not right away. It was after some time passed, when I forgot some things that happened. I did that if the book was very interesting.

My favorite author is Theodore Dreiser. He is from America. His father is German and his mother is American. My favorite book from him is called Jennie Gerhardt. The book was about a girl named Jennie Gerhardt who was from a poor family. She felt not valuable around people and would always be looked down on. She fell in love with a man named Lester but his parents did not allow her to marry him because she was not rich. They also said that if he does not come back and leave Jennie, they will not give him their will. The story is a very tragic and sad story. What I liked about the book is the characters. Jennie was someone very kind and she would always take care of her family. I also liked how to book talks about real life. The poor is always not accepted by the wealthy. I have read many books twice because when you read a book in different age levels, you will understand it in different ways.
